The Commencement Ceremony for students in GNTC’s Business and Cyber related technology programs and Nursing and Health Technology programs will begin at noon, and the Commencement Ceremony for students in GNTC’s Industrial and Public Service programs will take place at 4 p.m.
Eight high school students committed to pursuing a technical education during a signing event hosted by GNTC. This year marks GNTC’s third time participating in the National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Letter of Intent Signing Day, which was held on April 30 at the Gordon County Campus in Calhoun.
The Foundation at GNTC awarded $48,350 in grants and scholarships for spring semester 2026. Grant and scholarship awards ranged between $100 and $5,000 to assist in paying for spring semester at GNTC. Sixty grants and scholarships were awarded to 56 students.
Four GNTC students have received The Governor Nathan Deal Technical Education Scholarship in recognition of their academic achievement in an industrial or industrial-related program.
Georgia Northwestern Technical College announces it is accepting applications through April 30 for the summer term for a new state scholarship for disabled veterans. Funded by voluntary state income tax return donations, the Disabled Veterans Support Scholarship (DVSS) was created to support U.S. military veterans with service-connected disabilities as they pursue technical education in Georgia.
