Cosmetology
GNTC Public Service Technology programs combine classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and practicum experience to ensure that students possess the most current knowledge and skills required in their chosen profession.
The Cosmetology program is designed for individuals passionate about learning a wide range of skills and techniques, including hair cutting, styling, hair color, chemical services, skincare, and nail care. Students not only learn the artistry behind the industry but also gain an understanding of the foundations of being successful in the field. Students will gain hands-on training and guidance from experienced instructors that provides a foundation for turning your passion into a profession. Students will be prepared and confident for licensure exams and ready to embark on their journey in a wide range of cosmetology careers.
GNTC’s Program Pathways can be used as advising guides or maps to help determine which courses they need to take and when to take them. By following the course of study outlined in the specific degree, diploma or certificate pathway, GNTC students will know the necessary prerequisite courses they need to continue in the chosen program of study.
