GNTC Foundation awards spring 2026 scholarships

The Foundation at GNTC awarded $48,350 in grants and scholarships for spring semester 2026. Grant and scholarship awards ranged between $100 and $5,000 to assist in paying for spring semester at GNTC. Sixty grants and scholarships were awarded to 56 students.

Georgia Northwestern Technical College announces it is accepting applications through April 30 for the summer term for a new state scholarship for disabled veterans. Funded by voluntary state income tax return donations, the Disabled Veterans Support Scholarship (DVSS) was created to support U.S. military veterans with service-connected disabilities as they pursue technical education in Georgia.

GNTC's Accelerated Career program has empowered Logan Knight to pursue a career path in information technology after overcoming brain cancer. Logan Knight and his twin sister, Ella, are seniors at Model High School in Rome. He participates in GNTC’s Accelerated Career program, which allows eligible high school students to fast-track their education by simultaneously earning a high school diploma and a minimum of either two technical certificates of credit (TCCs), a diploma or an associate degree.
