Jon became involved in technical education in 1999 with DTAE (pre-TCSG) and has worked for every system commissioner. Jon became a pilot in Florida in the late-80’s and obtained the FAA Mechanic Certification (A&P) soon after, then the FAA Inspection Authorization (IA), and then FAA Designated Mechanic Examiner (DME) to conduct/evaluate the FAA Mechanic oral & practical examinations. Jon started the Aviation programs at GNTC (CVTC) in 2008. He is also the liaison for GNTC NC3 certifications.
