Arc Flash NFPA 70E Training
The Arc Flash/National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 70E training seminar will assist with satisfying employers’ current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), NFPA 70E, and risk management requirements related to training and protecting employees from electrical hazards associated with working on, around, or near electrical equipment, machinery, and circuits.
New industry standards establish safe practices to protect electrical workers from the hazards of shock, electrocution, arc flash, and arc blast. This three-hour training course covers the new standards, which includes:
- OSHA 29 Code of Federal Regulations Part 1910, Subpart S;
- NFPA 70-2011, National Electrical Code, and;
- NFPA 70E-2009, Standard for Electrical Safety Requirements for the Employee Workplace.
Classes Offered at the Whitfield Murray and Floyd County Campuses. Cost is $135.
