Instructor of EMS & Clinical Coordinator
Sonya Alday completed her EMS training at Coosa Valley Tech. She became a Paramedic in 1992. She worked in the field as a Paramedic for fifteen years. She then obtained a job at Polk Medical Center, where she functioned as a Nurse. She obtained her EMS Instructor License in 2012 and began working as an adjunct instructor at GNTC. She continued as an adjunct instructor and worked in the ER until 2021. She began working as a full-time EMS Instructor and Clinical Coordinator in September of 2021.
