James Moore, PhD
Instructor of English
Dr. Moore completed his Ph.D. at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. His research focused on technical college students and the ways in which technical college students experience success. Vincent Tinto’s Model of Institutional Departure(1975) provided the framework for Dr. Moore’s research. the model was reimagined as an asset-oriented model and reapplied to the modern technical college environment.
