Certified Nurse Assistant Class (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class at GNTC will begin on Monday, July 31, 2017. The 12-week course will meet on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. each night on the Walker County Campus.

Cost of tuition is $399.00 and is due the week prior to the start date. If you are unable to pay the full tuition by the due date we do offer a payment plan. You would need to pay $200 by the due date to start the class and the balance of the tuition will be due 5 weeks from the start date. There is a $25 processing fee added to the balance. Registration and payment can be made over the phone or in person at our campus.

Books will be available in the campus bookstore the first night of class or you may pick them up early if you wish to do so, please call the Campus Shop for their store hours at (706) 764-3804.   Cost of the books will be approximately $70.  If you are interested in purchasing books through a different provider please use the following information to ensure you get the correct one.

Effective July 1, 2007 the State of Georgia began requiring statewide standardized competency testing. Pearson VUE is the authorized administrator of the statewide competency testing services using the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP™) and began administering the examination in Georgia July 1, 2007.  GNTC will provide each student with a Georgia Nurse Aide Candidate Handbook and an Application for Registration by Competency Examination while in class.  The Candidate Handbook provides important information regarding the testing process. Cost of the examination will be $112.  More information will be provided to you by your instructor prior to completion of the class.
