Customized Workforce Training

Customized workforce training, also known as contract training, is a partnership between GNTC and a regional employer to design and develop a training program that meets the special requirements of the employer’s workforce.   Through contract training, the program may be delivered on the employer’s site or at one of GNTC’s six campus locations.  Our knowledgeable instructors, with years of relatable industry experience, can train new hires to make them aware of your specific processes, or sharpen the skills of existing employees.

Online Offerings

Amatrol Learning Management System

Amatrol designs, develops, and manufactures highly interactive eLearning solutions and more to train tomorrow’s global workforce for many diverse industries. As part of a licensing agreement, Georgia Northwestern Technical College is equipped to offer Amatrol subscriptions to area employers at a discounted rate to teach individuals technical and workplace skills ranging from entry level basic technical skills to advanced technology troubleshooting.  Amatrol services may be provided at a company location or at the technical college, whichever is most convenient to the employer.  For more information about Amatrol and subscription rates, please email Economic Development or contact Kim Crowe, Director of Economic Development for Business & Industry.

Subscription Features:

  • Annual Subscription Rates: This subscription allows company users unlimited access to all Amatrol online training modules and quizzes for a period of 12 months.  In addition, the company may designate a representative as an administrative user.  The administrative user will have access to all Amatrol content, the ability to customize content and have direct access to employee training performance and test results.
  • Select Modular Annual Subscription Rates: This subscription allows company users unlimited access to select training modules within Amatrol as well as quizzes for a period of 12 months.  In addition, the company may designate a representative as an administrative user.  The administrative user will have access to the select training modules, the ability to customize content, and have direct access to employer training performance and test results.
  • Customized eAssessment Subscription Rate:  For an extra fee, GNTC can provide customized eAssessments to determine an employee’s acute training need.  Based on the eAssessment results, employees can receive a prescriptive training course concentrated on their individual skill gaps.  Customized eAssessments may be administered as many times as needed for a period of 12 months.
