Continuing Education

Continuing Education options are varied and may be taken for job skill training, self-improvement, professional development, or something just for fun! While these courses do not provide you with college credit, each training completed earns you a Certificate of Completion and/or an industry-recognized credential.

December Courses

  • Time Management Mastery – Friday, December 1. The deadline to register is October 30. The course is located in Rome on the Floyd County Campus (FCC).  $175
  • OSHA 10 – General Industry – Tuesday & Thursday, December 4 & 5. The deadline to register is November 30. The course is located in Rome on the Floyd County Campus (FCC).  $225
  • Introduction to Computers in the Workplace – Tuesday & Thursday, December 6 & 8.  The deadline to register is December 1. The course is located in Rome on the Floyd County Campus (FCC).   $160

Self-Study Online Courses

Self-Study Online Courses provide employers and individuals with a wide variety of professional development. More than 130 courses are available that range from 1-2 hours each and offer interactive opportunities to learn new skills that were previously restricted to an instructor-led classroom environment. 

Ed2Go - Learn new personal and professional skills online!

Classes are non-credit continuing education programs.

Ed2Go is one of the early pioneers of online distance education that offers two types of online experiences: short-term instructor-led courses and advanced career training programs. Upon passing the training, participants will receive a certificate of completion.

  • Fundamental Courses - each course is instructor-led and has an expert to answer questions. Highly interactive, these courses last six to eight weeks and are composed of 12 lessons representing 24 hours of instruction. Courses range from personal interest to personal development classes. Real Estate and Appraisal Courses

GNTC has partnered with TheCEShop and Mibition to offer online training to satisfy the continuing education requirements for licenses, as well as exam preparation for inspections and real estate. Below are links to enroll in the appropriate courses.
