Are You Ready for Online Learning?
Online courses are offered at GNTC for those students who find this method of learning more convenient and a better fit for their busy lives. If you decide to enroll in an online course, make sure that you consider the following:
- Do you have the time, dedication, and commitment to complete an online course?
- Does your computer meet the requirements for online learning? Make sure that you check these requirements to see if your computer is compatible with using Blackboard, which is GNTC’s system for online learning.
Online Learning opportunities are available as follows:
Online: Courses are delivered via the Internet with few or no on-campus meetings. The minimum requirements for students to participate in an online course are access to a computer, a reliable broadband Internet connection, and motivation to succeed in a non-traditional classroom setting.
Hybrid: Courses meet one or more days per week in the classroom and also require work online.
Web-Enhanced: Courses meet regularly during the week and are supplemented with online activities, assignments, or homework.
