Graduation is a time of great joy and celebration for family and friends to share in the pride of your academic accomplishments. Georgia Northwestern Technical College is proud to have assisted you in achieving your educational goals. Congratulations!
The information obtained on this link will guide you through the graduation application process at GNTC as well as provide some general information on the commencement ceremonies, which are held twice a year at the end of spring and fall quarters.

How to Apply for Your Degree, Diploma or Certificate
An Application for Graduation must be completed and submitted to the Registrar no later than the end of the quarter prior to the quarter of the student’s anticipated graduation.
All students must have completed high school or received GED certification before graduating from a program of student at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. The student’s record will also be evaluated to determine if a minimum cumulative overall grade point average of 2.0 (C average) or higher has been earned. Prospective graduates must also meet a residency requirement of complete of at least 25% of coursework in a major at GNTC.
Guide for Graduates, Family Members and Guests
Admission tickets are not required. The commencement ceremony is open to friends and family members and graduates may invite as many guests as they wish. Please be aware that this policy is subject to change at the discretion of the college. Guest seating will be on a first-come-first seated basis. There will be reserved seating for graduates.
