Instruction & Orientation
General Orientation
Library staff offers library orientations at any time as requested by a faculty member for their class. Qualified staff is available to teach day and evening classes and are scheduled on a first requested basis. The second to fifth week of each term is set aside by library staff to schedule orientations and instruction. An email goes out to faculty members reminding them of these weeks prior to the beginning of each term. Faculty may email their campus librarian or complete the request form below and place it in campus mail to make a reservation.
Specialized Instruction
Program and course specific instruction is also available upon request. This in depth session explores library resources, databases, and websites appropriate to the program or course. Also included is discussion of search techniques, peer-reviewed sources, and citing resources.
