Circulation of Library Materials
GNTC Library Materials Checkout
In the library and remotely, students and faculty may search the library collection via the Library Online Catalog. Circulation of materials to the general public is permitted with proper identification and library registration.
Items Necessary for Check-Out
Georgia Northwestern Technical College students, faculty, and staff can borrow materials by presenting a current school identification card. A PIN number must be assigned to access ones library record off campus. This off campus access allows a patron to renew items and/or place holds on items they wish to pick up by logging into the Library Online Catalog with their ID number and PIN.
Community members residing in the GNTC service area may present a valid drivers license to register for library use at the circulation desk.
Check-out Limits and Loan Periods
Checkout is limited to 5 AV items with a maximum checkout total of 10 items. If Overdue fines equal or exceed $5.00, checkout will be declined. Unpaid fines of $10.00 or greater for overdue and lost items will result in a hold on student transcripts, grades, and graduation. All fines must be paid in full in order to remove the hold.
