Items Necessary for Check-out
Georgia Northwestern Technical College students, faculty, and staff can borrow materials by presenting a current school identification card. Check-out Limits and Loan Periods
- Books/audio books may be borrowed from the library collection for a 3 week period and may be renewed twice if there is no hold on the item. Main collection items not returned by the due date will be assessed an overdue fee of 10¢ per item, per day.
- Audio visual materials may be checked-out by student, faculty, and staff for 5 days and may be renewed twice if there is no hold on the item. Audio visuals not returned by the due date are assessed a $1.00 per day late fee.
- Faculty members are permitted to check-out reference materials and periodicals upon request for a limited time.
- There is a 5 item limit on checkouts.
- If overdue fines exceed $5.00, checkout will be declined until fines are paid.
- Unpaid fines for overdue and lost items will result in a hold on student transcripts, grades, and graduation. All fines must be paid in full in order to remove the hold.
