Georgia Northwestern Technical College offers short-term focused training for professional or personal growth through the Office of Continuing Education. Areas of instruction include computer applications, health and safety, paralegal certification, occupational licensing and recertification, occupational testing, professional development, culinary arts, personal enrichment and driver’s education. Courses are offered in the classroom on the Catoosa, Floyd, Gordon, Polk, Walker and Whitfield-Murray campuses, and at several off-site locations. Online courses are offered through strategic partnerships with companies who are recognized experts in distance learning.
The mission of the Economic Development Division of Georgia Northwestern Technical College is to provide occupational training for skills development and workforce development for business, industry, and community organizations in Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Gordon, Floyd, Murray, Polk, Walker, and Whitfield Counties. The mission is accomplished by providing classes through a variety of means, including Continuing Education.
