Literacy Volunteers Needed
Helping adults with beginning reading or English skills, or tutoring them in math concepts are things that community volunteers can help with! Our Adult Education Programs would welcome you! A commitment of even two hours a week can make a huge difference to an adult who has returned to school. If you are a high school or GED® graduate with a "degree of caring", your skills are needed. Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s Adult Education Program is a member of ProLiteracy Worldwide, the largest organization for literacy volunteers in the world. Through ProLiteracy and other professional connections, we have access to a wealth of information and online training for our volunteers.
