GNTC Admissions Steps
Submit a completed application to the Admissions office at the campus you will be attending and pay a $25 non-refundable application fee.
Complete the ACCUPLACER placement test offered by GNTC or submit satisfactory SAT, or ACT scores if taken within the past five years; or provide an official college transcript showing satisfactory completion of appropriate English and math courses with a "C" or better. This may be used in lieu of completing the placement test.
Submit an official copy of a high school transcript or GED® transcript; Applicants who have completed (C or better) a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours at the degree level may submit official college transcripts in lieu of high school diploma or GED®. All transcripts must be received in a sealed envelope. Special Education diplomas or Certificate of Attendance are not recognized for admission purposes. Students from secondary schools outside the United States must have transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved outside organization.
All new students or returning students who have not registered with GNTC within the previous twelve months are required to attend a face-to-face New Student Orientation on any of GNTC’s six campuses. Attendance at an orientation is required before you can meet with an advisor to get your course schedule.
Students must register online to attend a face-to-face New Student Orientation. After new students have submitted all required documents needed for admissions to GNTC and have been accepted to attend the college, information about the orientations, and about how to register for an orientation session, will be provided to them via student email account and through the mail.
Please visit the Admissions Office at GNTC for additional instructions.
