Advisory Committees
Programs at GNTC maintain contact with private industry through craft advisory committees. These committees review course curricula, program equipment, and facilities and make recommendations to keep the programs up-to-date and in line with industry standards. Advisory members review the program admissions, content, length, objectives, competency tests, instructional materials, equipment, methods of evaluation, and the skills and/or proficiency required for program completion.
The committee also provides information regarding current business and industrial needs as pertains to job skills and job placement. Recommendations of advisory committees are implemented to improve programs.
