Message from Campus Manager
Welcome to the Polk County Campus of Georgia Northwestern Technical College. Located in the 101 Industrial Park in Rockmart, Georgia, the Polk County Campus serves our community with educational opportunities designed for workforce needs and economic development.
The faculty and staff of the Polk County Campus are committed to student success and to excellence in the collegiate environment. The campus offers small classes and an atmosphere for learning that is focused on students. The educational opportunities include a variety of programs for associate degrees, diplomas, and technical certificates of credit as well as resources for earning a GED diploma. Opportunities are also available for high school students to participate in dual and joint enrollment programs. Course schedules are designed to meet students’ needs with day and night classes and online and hybrid course offerings.
Georgia Northwestern Technical College is committed to the workforce requirements of the communities we serve. Business and industry demands are constantly monitored and programs offered to meet their needs for an educated and skilled workforce. In addition to the programs of study for Business, Health, Industrial, and Public Service Technologies, the Polk County Campus hosts the Georgia Power Technology Education Center providing state-of-the-art employee training.
The Polk County Campus for Georgia Northwestern Technical College provides resources to support business, industry, and community initiatives. Partnerships span a range of training resources from new industry to customized courses to upgrading technology skills.
