GOAL, EAGLE and Rick Perkins Award presentations will take place at GNTC on Friday, Feb.1

Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) will announce the student winner of the Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) competition and the instructor selected for the Rick Perkins Award of Excellence in Technical Instruction competition on Friday, Feb. 1, at 1 p.m.

The presentation will take place at the Conference Center in Building H of GNTC’s Floyd County Campus. The student chosen in December to represent Georgia Northwestern at the EAGLE Leadership Institute will also be recognized during the presentation.

The awards are sponsored by Rome Floyd Chamber, the Seven Hills Rotary Club of Rome and GNTC.

The winners of GNTC’s 2019 GOAL and Rick Perkins Awards will move on to compete in the regional competitions. If chosen as regional winners they will compete at the state level in the competitions.
